Kombi Garage - 61 Panel reboot

2011 saw me take on a project ($10,000 Kombi van challenge) that had some great lessons for me. But since 2012, my 61 panel van has been waiting for me to give it my attention. Finally, that time has come, and a new journey has presented itself. One no longer bound by a budget, but with its own new approach, one I'm really excited about.
Kombi Garage! One of the reasons for the lack of progress has been that I have not had a place to work from. My van has been sitting out in the weather, with just a 3/4 tarp over it.
So after years sitting and waiting, I went out to look at the damage time and weather has made.
Surface rust has formed on all exposed metal that wasn't painted, but all the underbody still appeared to be in great condition.
This meant getting started with some cleaning, and painting.
A special home has been ordered for the van, The Kombi Garage is on its way!
9 x 8 meters of safe, warm working area for this journey to continue.
