What paint are you using to prevent rust between work?

I use an etching primer called Etch pro on bare metal.... need to put on at least two coats to stop the humidity getting to it....
For areas that are not going to be seen, I use a product called Xtrol rust proofing. A local panel beater I know swears by it. Much better than any fish oil substitute.

Egggggzactly....
Some idiot in an obviously moment of madness decided to cut holes in the doors to fit some cheapo windows causing me hours of pain and strife, welding, metal filling and bogging..... I have so far spent about """''''@@##$$$^% ? hours/days and just about finished one bloomin door, down to the final strages, shes flat, very flat and smooth - my sanding file has become my best friend in what seems to have turned into a marathon sanding session..... Might have a sanding party at the weekend. Anyone foolish enough to want to come ????

Primers

The only primer that holds out moisture is a epoxy based ...also known as 2pac generally ...single pac paint is porous ...we use an industrial brand Altex
..they also have a 2pac pre primer which you can use first to seal all areas that arent 100% rust free ...Industrial paints are generally cheaper than automotive...by a long way...we retail 5 litres of primer (2pac) for under $100..highbuild around $120......and poly urethane finishes with a white base
for around $170 for 5litres
