WA - Perth to Manjimup and Margaret River - 10th - 11th Nov.

Post by sneak_e »

Sam from Manjimup (about 2.5 hours south of Perth) has kindly invited us to do a trip down his way for the annual Bridgetown Blues Festival (www.bluesatbridgetown.com ) so we're going to make a weekend of it, take in the free street concerts Saturday and head over to Margaret River for a return trip up the coast back to Perth late Sunday. All up probably 7 hours worth of driving over the weekend. Sam has an aircraft hangar in Manjimup which we can use to camp out at (comes complete with shower and toilet!)

Anyway, let me know if any WA DSK-ers are interested?

OK fellas, Stella is back with a new steering box (well a reconditioned one anyway) and it feels awesome. We are getting our camping gear ready for this week end.

Brian, what is happening? Where do we meet? Is this still on?

Hi Hooman

Most are heading down Friday night for some night fishing north of Bunbury - best to give Dave a ring on 0402 607552 as I think he has the details on where/when they are heading off.

Me and Patrick will head down early Sat morning and catch up with you guys at the campsite, then we'll cruise the rest of the way to Bridgetown.

Will be a good turnout!

I'm on the trail of a double door that needs resto down that way ;)

G'day Volma, my bus is due to leave Melburg on Wednesday 12th, it should arrive here in about 10 days after that.
It will probably be one of most travelled busses in Oz, Taz to Manjimup, 4250kms, Manjimup to Sydney 4020kms, Sydney to Melbourne 885 kms and Melbourne to Manjimup another 3500kms, totaling 12655 kms all on less a litre of juice.
Next month makes it two years it's been away from home, me the missus and the kids can't wait for it to arrive.
