A few pics of Als handy work to remove the Audi centre caps and replace with some VW caps.

- VW emblems were stuck on to cover the original Audi embossing

- Due to the size of the axle nut on the rear and dust cap on front, the centre caps had to be modified by cutting the center bore clips off, then drilling and tapping the wheel for M4 SS button head screws to hold the cap on

Obviously needs the rear bar fitted, but I am very excited.

Very true when I took it for its test runs.....but that was Steve who works with me (he lurks as username 'snake' on here) driving in the vids - not sure if there was any nipple arousing in the making of those vids, but wouldn't surprise me with Steve
Things are still moving ahead - sidewinder exhaust didn't clear the rear apron so the primary pipe from number two cylinder had to be cut near the head and shortened, cut near the collector and turned to get the necessary clearance....then got it tig welded today. Had a few carb issues from what were purchased as 'fully rebuilt' units so they are being rebuilt at the moment. All will be sorted soon but its all these little niggles that take lots of time!
