Been a while since I posted some pics have managed to get a bit done but getting uglier before getting better.DOVW got me stirred up so into I go again. My sheet metal man wants to know where all his steel is going. Pics are of RHS inside and LHS outside space with this is a bit of a problem so when I turn it around I can do the other side.
Lots to do want to drive to perth with the crew next year

Well been a while and I am back into it ,need it going and ok for Perth later in the year and maybe Jambo if I can get the time.
As for news which is not that good is that the previous owners son who I purchased the bus off passed away late last year then 6 weeks later his father who built the bus also passed away sadly in a nursing home aged 95. Since then I have been in communication with the old fellows daughter who has been sending me info and pics of the bus in the early days, one of which I have posted for all to see.
On my front I have been concentrating on the front having finished the side window repair, the front which has suffered the ravages of the rust but is starting to look good. No gerson green panels have to make them all myself, what a pain in the arse. Good experience though.

Ok so I have been able to do some more to the bus, this time a bit of bling, managed to amass a full set of Jailbars or in my case tea towel racks and a couple of extra popouts. [/img
Sorry about the pics but another member instructed me to do this so I am not responsible [/img]

Have also done some work on the front doglegs as well

Just a couple of update pics. Stuffed my knee 2 weeks ago so things are going even slower than normal.
Both dog legs done just need to finish welding in, man what a nightmare but got thru it. Today I stripped both door tops so off to blaster next week, then gather some more bits, new glass and put together.

Fair go you guys spend up big getting the wheels under the gaurds, I am actually going to change the front rims to 5 inch so I can have a safety rim and no tubes. The rear were done when I bought it and they are 6 inch from memory. Still need a trained monkey and wheel brace to go in there and undo the wheel nuts.
