Its been a while, but shes on the go again. After looking over the bus for the last three years and umming and arring about the panel and paint work, shes gone off to the panelbeater to be fixed properly and re painted as it was shit job when viewed in person. So hopeully i will have it back in a couple of months with a new look. Replacing both left and right rocker panels, both sides of the front floor, inner and outer of the bottom of the front nose and dash. So far panelbeater has done the front and the long side panel and said it had been fixed with metal{and lots of bog} but a lot of the welds wern't even holding things together, so it wasn't to hard cutting it away.

Will the colour scheme stay or are you going for a more low key look, FS?

Last year when in the US for the classic I went to Charlie Hamill's place (awesome collection of super low mileage original paint (no repairs) splits of various years/models).....it was amazing to see how wobbly and how much orange peel the buses had from new. It is not easy getting them straight when they were never that straight from the factory!

Hey Dean

It'll be a shame to get rid of the starburst colour scheme.

Agree they weren't dead straight most had a bit of a ripple effect.

Although if I took it somewhere for paintwork I would want it straight.
