cheers mate!benno wrote:G'day tar76, the exhaust is a side winder from George at Classic Vee Dub. Al at DAS resto did the fit, they dont bolt straight up without hitting the rear valance and will most likely need to be cut and re angle for clearance. If your in Qld give Al a call they sort it out for you.
Cheers Ben

G'day Tonz, I haven't mentioned the tyre combo before, the fronts are 175/55/15 the brand is Ecsta (never heard of them before) they seem pretty good and have a decent tread pattern they were around $130/tyre.
Rear's are 185/55/15 brand is Star (again never heard of them) but look quite good $140/tyre.
The rims I off got off roy (Busstop), my only complaint with the Fuch's are the offset, you loose a lot of the benifit of the narrowed beam but I have been told you can get the centers milled down which im going to look at shortly.
If you are running a lowered setup milling the centers is a good idea as I do get a bit of rubbing on decents bumps, I only need about 1/2in taken of the center to bring the rims back in to get enough clearance.
The tyre sizes fit really well on the rims and the rear tyres just clear the inner guard any wider tyre with fuchs and you would have trouble.
I hope that makes sense, cheers Ben

Thanks Ben,
The rims look perfect on your ute..Just the right amount of bling..
Are they a vw (5x112mm PCD) or Porsche..?
Is this clearance problem unique to the rims supplied by roy or are other brands available which have a more suitable off-set..?
