thats cool , i think it would look good also with the dsk laser cut out of stainless plate so your lights shine through the dsk , like the old army light covers. 8)

Grillz update

This is what I have decided to use to hold in the wire for the grills

the concept is to hinge one end and the other side will locate under the main screw, the wire will be inserted into the copper pipe into small drilled holes, then the whole lot will be braised together for strength.

I have been patiently waiting to get my headlight rings back, they have been away at the chromers in the tank having the chrome taken off and polishing them up as they are made of solid brass, should be an interesting look with a combo of chrome wire, brass and copper with stainless reflector bases

left and right will be different grill designs, if you look closely at the paper under one of the pics it may give it away for some :wink:

Have gone through your thread multiple time it's awesome. Would have to say one of the best resto threads around. Lovin the custom touches you are coming up with too.
