Recently my bus was sent to the blasters to get freshened up. Ive been stockading panels and parts so once the bus comes back-time allowing i will be hitting it pretty hard!

Back at it
Its been a little while since I have had a chance to have a good crack at things, the time away from the bus gave me a chance to gather a few much needed tools and parts i reqd to move forward....so with a head full of ideas its fullsteam ahead now...
I have kicked off with the lower passenger door repair,it was pretty bad. I will be replacing the inner and outer peices including the inner gusett. Both lower Gerson peices need some masaging but otherwise they are a pretty good fit.

door and pillar continued
Still reconstructing the door, unfortunately the backing plate had to be replaced, so i decided to replace all the rusty pillar while i was there, due to the amount of rust it was making adjustment of the door almost impossible.
The door still needs alot of work to set gaps...

LHS Dogleg and B pillar repair
Got a nice box of Gerson parts recently- c/- Elton @ Split Parts. Even better i found time to fit them.
The dogleg took a fair few trial fits, but fits like a glove after the right persuasion!
The door has been a real headache to get the gaps right, but im pretty happy with the final fit and big picture so far!
Onto some fun custom stuff in the next few weeks......
