:) still smilin ... its just a bus and this being a small vw community I think its best to be upfront and show it for what it is , like anything i ressurrect i cut weld then post pics . I have nothing to hide as I'm sure you've all seen with the unprimered welds on my panel :wink: .
So dogleg off awaiting mr georges care package of steel .

And not a problem Royce i enjoy a challenge.

nice work,love all the pics and info here,these are both inspirational and abit scary. :)
though it does help with newbies to the kombi world like myself plan my future rust repairs.

Yee Haw I's got more pics to post thanks for the spring cleaning Warb n co . After i jammed a screwdriver into the inner wheel arch ...gotta stop checking things with screwdrivers I found some more .
Oh and i get to use my new cleco's n butt weld clamps soon

Awesome work Klaus, I spoke with Royce a couple of days ago and mate he couldn't give you enough praise.....and rightfully so, keep up the great work and look forward to seeing the bus in its finished state !

Its going along fine it might seem a bit extreme in some pics but its been decided to change some bits to suit what royce wants , while its apart why not.
new metal has been etch primed , and what a fk it was to get winnie the poo's honey spunk of the outriggers but thinners fixed that.
I'll ease up on pics for a while as royce wants to check progress in person and to do some work himself , he doesnt know this yet :)

Always knew you were amazing with a welder, Klaus, but that is really showing how good you are.
Is there anything in the bottom 6 inches of that bus that didn't need to be fixed?
