bob sorted the passenger side out and batt trays are sweet , I could have left some alone but i know the blue slip guy well and he uses a magnifying glass and a bigger screwdriver than i do .
I got the butt weld clamps from Speedwerx near picton nsw , didnt get off my arse only to pick them up from the post office. Go on their site send an email of what you want he sends back payment options and $$ and stuffs in the mail once money goes thru. and damn good price about 27.5 for 4x clamps i think ebay was 40.
did some work on pass side dogleg and A pillar, didnt like how repro dogleg sat on so after royce left I drilled the spotwelds out and carved it up , fits alot better but the test will be with a door on and floor properly trimmed and CLECOED in place damn these make life easy.
Royce got the drums and backing plates cleaned up couldnt use the origs as one had hit the deck when the wheel escaped from the front and the outer bearing shell could be taken out by hand yeah not good .
so a spare late beam i had is being used , not narrowed just adjusters and new brakes , tie rods king and links have been checked and are in fkn awesome condition so saving there , the old well lets just say binned cant even use for a mock up set and only 1 spindle can be reused , as it looks like an outer bearing has done some serious damage to the stub.
Binned what am i saying i dont throw anything out
ha thanks ted2 dont know about master..
Lower "A" pillar fabbed up and welded on tried to make it as close to orig as possible, inside is coated with epoxy etch primer as will the outside until colour.
ok drivers side getting the grinder treatment pretty much the same as passenger side actually maybe worse as i have to fab up most of the lower dogleg.
Y'know, I just can't believe how much........sorry, playing nice.
As usual, astounding work, Klaus.
I need to come down and get some tips from you when I start on the '55.
