question: what year and month did 62's go from the 2 round tail lights to the oval shaped ones?

how much work was involved in going from fish eye back to
bullet indicators ?...gotta love the nipples ! 8)

just a bolt on job mate, they didnt cut anything out to fit the fish eyes on so i was lucky enough to use the the original holes.

put the back down abit today and cleaned out the treasure chest got a hole bucket full of dirt out.

So ive scrubbed in the treasure chest, removed the tank (which was still full of diesel :lol: ) wire wheeled the gear box, painted the engine bay, greased the front end and cleaned all the old grease off the beam.
not really worth taking photo's of lol

Just have to get the left hand sill than its all ready to be welded up, have to trim the vents, i spent yesterday paint stripping them all then wire wheeling them and then primer.

just bought a 57 very rusty ute for parts but i plan to get her on the road as soon as the 62 is done, will post pics when i pick her up

just got tiff her 18 present a set of empi mud flaps window rubber kit. new wheel bearings . and a repo steering wheel you know the one starting with R and ending in sch :wink:
