I just wanted to say thanks for resparking my interest in Kombis. Saw your " 64 Rebirth " video on u-tube about 6 weeks ago and i have been relentless in my hunt for a split kombi. Finally just last week I bought home a 1963 11 window. So now the fun begins. I hope mine can turn out as cool as yours.

Thanks for the inspiration, your van is spot on.

Here's a peek with what I am planing to do with my seats.

Going to strip the seats back to the frame and springs and strech these old belts over the seat frames and tie them on nice and taut.

Planning to have all the buckles around the edges

Reckon I'll need about 100 or so belts

Cool, I guess you will have plenty of coconut husk for the padding, going to take you about 15 min to belt up though
