bit more fun on the old girl 2day.
thanks al for the advice,
still a shitload to drill out, cut, grind, replace, an drink a beer afterwards...
half out..
started on the other side.
All gone...
Look at all the og patina scrap metal...
need to pull out o few more sections then trial fit the funky green floor..
anyone who hasnt taken out a rear floor, dont.
there is hundreds of spot welds to drill out, its a headache.
nothin a good chisel wont fix in parts tho..

Nice work mate, Steve (snakeman here on dsk) who works for me can appreciate the joys of removing a dual cab floor (he's done his DC splitty as well as a customer's bay DC).....he looked like he was having so much fun I thought I'd not spoil it and get involved!
Will be worth the effort in the long run!

I'm getting flashbacks when i did my crewcab i cut either side of the I beams with a 1mm cutting disk then used a air chisole to get the remainder of the floor off then ground the I beams smooth.Probibly louder but quicker than drilling (not having to find all those bloody spot weld) plus those drill bits arent cheap if you break or blunten them
