looking goooooood there mate, thanks for the heads up on the sealer, if its septone i should be able to get it from a paint store at trade prices....

took me a while to get emails back and that from bustorations so i just ordered and emailed saying id pay when they let me know about other things and want, and wala instant emails.

getting there slowly.......

colour matched a couple of panels. just need to age them a little to match the existing paint and take away the gloss

painted the dogleg last week so i took to it with a sanding sponge and scotch brite pad.

looks great - fairly sure you can put a flattening agent in your paint to dull it off

keep him going Glenn....looks like your taking Grant and i to dubs next year...Lyns off to Europe in Jan so that will give me a chance to get the 72 on the road :lol:

thought id bump you up try give you so insperation!!!

so do you recon you can make it for dubs in your bus, would be good to have another newly regod bus to take the worry off breaking down in mine.

bus looks betta in real life than pics, doing a top job ayyyyyyyyyyyy

Not sure if it was needed but i changed my hand brake cables. The drivers side was abit frayed and crappy, the passanger side still had a few thousand km's left in it..........

what you reckon?

Matting base will dull the gloss but doesnt give an aged appearance. Still looks like dull new paint.

nothing seems to work as well as a scotch brite pad and and a few spare hours.

Ditto, my Panel has 2 pak with matting agent.
Still looks like new primer.

Found myself a cool old 3/4 length rack.
fitted straight on with out any adjusting
i was hoping to find somthing that would mount to the original roof rack points but now i will get rid of them this weekend.
started a new job 2 weeks ago so no other progress to report.
