the 55 would be a better buy now iv welded nearly all the new steel in and sanded roof and front is in primer nearly ready for paint!
seems iv picked up another 1600 tp in better nick now, has a complete beetle atatched to it aswell.
what are your plans sat or sunday mate, thinking of coming down to see dave and go pick up a front bar, depending on what day i go get the bug.
would be good to meet you and pick your brain abit more about lowering!
have you still got your ute???
i herd today about something your chasing sounds good!
i would have liked that double door, looked like a good bus.
yehaaw - finished a week of roadworthying a rusty old landcruiser and got back on the '65 -
have been chasing the inner bpillar on drivers side - niot sure what ists called so that made it harder but finally gave up and made one from some old ute tophat steel - still aiming to get the steel work done by christmas or at least mid january to give Josh a chance of getting this old girl cruising for the wedding in March
been a bit slack on the updates- floors are now in and the conversion of LHD to right is almost complete, just a bit of tidying to do here an there and then POR15 for the underside
Beam is almost done thanks benny, and the spindles have landed so be good to see this thing going back together!
josh is away on holiday so thought it a good time to tackle the scariest part of the bus - been a bit of a nightmare and still a lot of tidying up to do but i think it'll come together ok..
