Just a quick hello to everyone as I am a new member here.
My name is Peter, my wife is Kathy and we have a Ben (aged 9)
Long time lurker - first time poster I guess
A bit about us....We are not yet a splitty owner although my garage is full of VWs of the watercooled variety (don't hold that against us hehe). I own a 1999 Golf as well as a 2010 Golf. If anyone here is also a member of vwwatercooled.org.au you'll know me as "craig_the_german"
Growing up, my parents owned a mid 70s Kombi that my father turned into a camper and we spent many a weekend at the coast with the surfboards on the top...as you did back then.
Our plans are to hopefully find a splitty hidden in a chook shed and restore it to it's former spendour...so if anyone has a chook shed......
