dont worry dean there will be plenty of people that will be able to asist if needed , thats the best part of driving in a convoy safety in numbers..... how fresh is the 1600 , might need to do the tappets before the return journey if its a rebuilt motor , i am sure it wont be a issue for someone to give you a hand to sort them out, just bring some new gaskets

sweet - will call in after work - you finish at 5 yeah?

Aiming to get some duff running before Narooma. Been test fitting and getting the wiring organised ... therapy after dealing with the damn RTA. - Had to get a stat. dec. to say that the receipt, was what it said...so off to the JP, raced back, RTA closes at 12.00. Guess what, the auto door stop working at 10 to. Grrrr. So took a trip to Jaycar to get more audio crap.

Here's the motorised TFT....sits kind of well. Theres a small red LED on in when closed, which is bonus. Liked that.

press the remote control and out it comes....

I'm pretty happy with the dash. It was majorly rooted, and too forever to get straight. All the vents were bent up.

Hooked up the Playstation and DVD/MP3/DivX HU and works well....

pulled it all out again, as I've gotta mount the amp and do it properly, hense the need to make up some kick panels for the splits.

Sat with a beer and watched Worlds Fastest Indian in there....sad...sez the wife....quiet thinks me.

Congratulations, I am a little bit green, not a nice green as the bus but green all the same. So Narooma is on for it now?
If you are unsure of the engine here is what I did, I joined the RACV Plus which is the one that will bring your car back from anywhere if it is more than a 3 or 4 day repair. Also it covers you; not the car so I am covered in both my buses. NRMA must have a similar deal that would be worth checking out.
