hi
New member, thought I'd say hello. Always been interested in VWs and Kombis but not here to buy at present. Used to have a ghia a few years ago. Like following members restos and really liked the rat rods at Dubs at the Pie. Really like the community spirit on here.

thanks
Thanks for all the welcomes. Have a couple of pics of the ghia somewhere but only had it a short while as it needed a bit more work than first thought/hoped. Drove fine bit modified with big wheels and dechromed- really should have kept it and saved up for bodywork. Had a morryminor styleside ute for 6 years as my daily driver should have kept that too. FB Wagon loved that too but a menace with all the roundabouts here, I'm ok with selling that one, bit rusty and got sick of smashing my left knee getting in and out- doors filled up in the wet- rust galore. Got a family member with a low km 66 beetle that I'd love to snavel if he ever sells. He may even read this and get an idea to sell. thanks again blokes Steely

Watch out if Ricky Nixon tries to recruit you...

Ease up Brent.....
Ricky was only being a nice guy by taking alcohol around to the lady teen because she was too young to legally buy it herself....
Incredible how things can be "blown" out of proportion.....
( a bit like Bruces inflatable doll when he took it to the servo for air)
Wanted..Barny bits or 60's Supercharger other than Judson
