Well with some room now in my garage, finally doing some work on my bus to make it a bit more relaxing to cruise. Losing the baja bus look, but not on it guts ...yet. Still want it to be practical yet not a nose bleeder. Currently got the rear end out & fitting bay running gear. L' Bug box etc.. Front end will remain K&L with adjusters fitted to beam, spindles etc.. hopefully on the road ready for a trip up North Coast with Animal at Easter. More pics to follow as we progress.

Got the rear of back together, took it for a spin...wow what a difference. From driving stock for the couple of yrs to this. Can't believe took so long for me. Being a chippy also quite proud of my efforts. Doing a couple of hrs after the kiddies went to bed every night. Got it sitting quite low at the moment and felt quite rigid. Want comfort by a friggin Avalon!
Love a good tink
Now the front awaits.

Got the front end out today (another cherry). After the shift rod problem was sorted all quite simple for a 1st timer. She was well packed with grease. LOTS of rags needed. Upper beam had a few broken springs which will need to be rectified before assembly. Hopefully cruising 1-2 weeks.

Re: '65 11 Window
Well finally got sick of driving round without the wind blowing through my hair, so after a long time waiting, she now flows. Just not through my hair though. (The wife's)
