Day 2/10

Did a bit of running around today. Went and sorted out a radiator, so waiting on a quote and also went and picked up new bearings for the rear.
Fitted those up, put the wheels back together.
Had to redo part of the thread on the axel it was damaged.

Alot of cleaning, pulled these bad boys apart and as you could imagine were filthy.

Cleaned them right up and repacked them with grease ready to fit up.

Getting there mate. Working on the rear valance and rear area next, some rust to get out and fix hinges on the engine lid etc.

Going to do some sign writing on the side of the bus I am thinking about Texaco at this stage.

Hello mate, It is good it's really coming together now. Been doing a bit of prep for the paint in the new metal areas.

It's still not going, I still have that electrical issue. I didn't get around to getting you that info. Been slack in that area.

Still not sure which way to go, whether to get a pre 04 manifold/harness, go motek computer or take it somewhere to see if it can be wired up at an alright price.

If you track the info down I can review it straight away as I have enough time on my hands at the moment, if it can be wired up I should be able to direct you from here, a good example of this senario I've dealt with before is setting up engines to be tested onto the engine dyno when they rely on starting with the remainder of the machines systems to also be plugged in.

It's a matter of understanding what signals need to be fed into the computer for it to enable starting and running correctly, then looping some circuits that require it and patching in other stuff that needs to be there for it to work. It may not cost that much to sort and if it will be cheaper to retro fit say motech than atleast the workshop manual will still be handy for repairs of the donk.

You may be able to find an online subscription heaps cheaper then give me access to it and I can source it all from here.
I can try and sort it while you keep going on the pretty stuff.

Food for thought pal. :)

The old window frames were a bit rotten in places so I used another set that was beyond repair to borrow some parts.

The ends of these quarter glasses where no longer there so we cut and welded a couple of bolts on the end. Works perfect.
