Thats a great idea..... and worth saying twice :D

In that spirit, Does anyone have the following for sale?
Bay fuel tank
61 tail lights (both brake and indicator)
Front seats
side mirrors

Yes one item is expensive but when you get a set it works out cheaper

I used CIP1.com in the past and i guarantee you the CIP goods will arrive before the busted items, i bought 20k of parts for resale many years ago, upset a few resellers in Aus, but you cant beat there delivery times. good luck, lettuce know what comes first!

CIP1 delivery 5-7 days from order (however first order you need to confirm credit card so it will be from that time when you confirm details by faxing or emailing credit card and licence)

So I hear there is someone on DSK who can tell you what year your Split Screen was made from the Chassis Number.

If anyone can help out here is the plate

Joe,

I reckon Oct 1960 but John ( in2vws ) is your man and will tell you for sure.

Your doing great work on this bus, well done and keep at it, you'll have it done in no time at this rate.

Thanks Ian
I'll PM John, if its a 60 that changes a lot I imagine. Does it mean it should have semaphore indicators?

Joe

I think 60 was a cross over year, I had a 60 11 window with semaphores but I know there are also 60 buses with twin taillights instead o single rear lights
Best thing to do is wait for John to confirm the dating side and go from there.
Small rear lights, small back window and semaphores is what tcks he boxes for me and lots of others on here, a 60 bus is on a lot of people's wish list I reckon.
Regardless you have a great bus and carry on with the great work and get it on the road and enjoy

Best
