This is a seriously impressive build, ZP.
I've said it before but I think it needs to be said that whilst other people have done shiney builds and added sparkly bits or created textbook rat buses you have laboured solidly and resurrected something.
Many of us would've discovered it and either given it a respectful salute and let it rust in peace or cut it up and parted it out.
So when this goes on the road it will represent a real achievement.
Plus, you've done it ALL yourself.
That is serious cred.
Reminiscent of the fella in the US who took that 23 Window that had been rolled off a cliff and put it back on the road.
Maybe not so extreme but in the same vein and you've done it all in an outback shed.
Keep at it, mate. :D

Thanks a heap mate, appreciate the comments.

I must admit it does help, after doing bits and pieces I look forward to chucking it up to show what has been completed.

Soon it will be all over.

Have made great progress to the point of not alot more has to be done, well that we can do before it goes to a shop.

Will get some photos up soon, heading out tuesday so will get some then

Most of what we need to paint is done, have wheels. All looking good.

Bulk head is all done, had to bash out some dings, bit of bog and she came up nice.

I need some opinions, I am going TEXACO signwriting for the sides of the bus and rear, here some examples I am playing with.

What you think, or open to other suggestions.

I have a signwriter ready to go on this...

Will definately be the distressed finish.

I am swaying towards the top one personnally, but yeah I don't mind the idea of the combo between the top and middle.

Final decision has been made, I went with the top one. Have some progress to add.

Had a bit of a play with trying to match the paint.

Has some clay mud and put that on and painted over.

Played with a few other ideas, oil grease. Cut a long story short the end result is this.

The paint will fade in more, heaps of flattener in it, I need to run it down more yet.
