Nice try Andy..but I'm seeing this quote box chain to the last link...
ps Doc...Turn on your spell checker..
We just made it , it's now a 23 window, started out as a panel , but now it's a 23, I don't think the purists will like this, they'd call it a "hack"

What happens now, o that is what happens

not overly happy with my beam,
i contacted Geoff to do me a new one, super pleased with the new beam, all pulled out and put back in in half a day,
was happy with the original height but was too low, so adjusted it and all good now...
Thanks to Geoff for building me a new one and all the info and Lewis for lending a hand gettin the adjustments right....

Lined up the wheels by eye and had 24mm toe in between both of them, thought i did ok, it was an even 12mm on each side..

sway bar had to be flipped, it sat about 15mm off the ground...

see if you narrowed the beam even more you wouldn't need a swaybar. and junked the irs it would be lighter and get it even lower  .
Very nice though mr reepa's grass cutting service and grave digging

r u still using dropped spindles on the new beam? I've got a narrowed beam and dropped spindles off understated and they do look very good, haven't had a drive with this set up yet though.

I need to do this to my Panel.
Not to make your job seem silly but I was talking to a mate the other day who sells Dynamat and he says while plastering it all over the car is the ultimate in sound reduction pieces of it used strategically have a dramatic effect.
Apparently when they first brought it out they brought 2 metal garbage bins to his shop with a horn built into a lid that could be put over the top of them.
One had no damping and the other only had Dynamat on the bottom, nowhere else.
When they sounded the horn in the undamped bin it sounded like a grenade had gone off in the bin and just about deafened everyone.
When they sounded it in the bin with the damped bottom there was just a "thud".
My mate says a reasonable square of it on a panel can have almost the same effect as sticking it all over the metal.
Just a thought.
Cheers & God Bless

You get 90 % benefit from 25 % coverage! Makes the last 10 % expensive.

Takes about 5 boxes to cover all surfaces! I did mine progressively and each bit made a difference.

The first few boxes covered the engine bay and the roof and most of the sides of my panel.Rest covered the floors and doors and nose.

I reckon whatever gives you the level of quiet you want is good.So if 30% coverage works go for it.5 boxes is about $1k if you order from the states bit more locally.
