You're a magician Joe. I've never cut apart a long panel in my life and I've done a ton of buses.

You're the boss now!! :)

uh, um, er, yeah...

YOU TOOK IT ALL APART! If it was anyone other than you joe, I would be worried. But since you're superman we can just sit back and relax as you do your save the kombi routine on it.

You did the I beams the proper way (simul spot welds). I have belly pans on my bus so I stitch welded the ends of the I beams.

And now I feel like I should remove the belly pans, remove the outer, inner sills, and fix those stitch welds....hmm, maybe next time.. :)

Great work, again, Joe. :) :) :)
Love the intro "I like to take things apart!"
Somewhat of an understatement, but a great effort and brilliant attention to detail.
Love it!!!

Very, VERY scary stuff.
I've never seen anyone here pull the engine shelf before.
In fact the only time I can recall it done was that panel in the UK that now has the "Rocket" logo on the side.
But, as usual, spectacular work.
Y'know, I think you could probably resto the St.George Panel and believe me THAT would be a real sod of job.
Cheers & God Bless

Thank you guys
Taking apart is the easy bit
Getting it back together is the fun :D :D

I'm having trouble getting a B pillar replacement, so I'm thinking about fabricating it, but have nothing to go by.

Would anyone have access to an image on what the lower part looks like?

OOPS!! Those are for the cargo door side, sorry I keep forgetting the RHD/LHD thing!

The long side is much simpler...

http://www.bustoration.com/B-Pillar-Tal ... _1522.html

Basically you can cut a C pillar or almost any pillar from the side and ta da! B pillar :)
