screw that , they look like a monkey has punched the dents into them hopefully have a swageing machine soon so its neater for 57 and dc :)

original.. better get all the cab stuff cleaned up as i have one more bit of welding to do and it can all go back together :D

jeff dropped round and got brake n clutch pedals freeded up and working had to steal bits from the 56 panel even the orig ute brake pedal spring works sweet, and thanks to Dion part of the tray is repaired as one of his dc's donated there old trays very useful....... just gotta grind it now oh and fix the middle of the tray including the tophat

jeff also did the 12v conversion to the stock wiper motor fitted it up along with wiper spindles n rods

been building a seat back from scratch and getting it to rod penrose for foaming and trimming .copied from the orig one which i repaired aswell small patches here n there , safaris put together with new glass and repaired the hinges with tig wire , pulled a beetle box apart so i can mod the axle tubes for straight axle , door tops together did 2 cip1 orders :) and now back to the tray for the last bit of repair for it then long sill and rear corner n floor n batt tray mmm bit more to go.

had to pack the zinc top hat section from george with 3 mm steel as it sat too low , if your pulling alot of axle fo bugs n stuff apart the torque multiplier tool made jeffs job too easy of undoing the nut.
had to reprofile corners of seat to match orig as pipe bender couldnt match it

great work on the seat FC! but that top hat sittin low has gotta piss ya off? Is it because they made it wrong or is the profile different on utes?

made to short/low like the zplate inner sills which push out too far 2-3 mm on pass side i cut and rewelded the inner sill but on drivers side i'll leave as is because that side has been torn up pretty bad
