DC progress
Slow going.
Fortunately I put the bus in the hands of Chris @ Innovative Body works
Fairy Meadow (completely un-solicited). I got the bus back from a reputable restorer before it was too late.
So far so good, he's been fair & you get what you pay for.
The way I see her @ the finish is different to anything else I've seen- hopefully that doesn't mean abhorent. (I'll have to mock it up on photo shop).
I've got to thank Elton for his help thus far.
new cargo floor, seperation panel,rear corners & tray paid for- awaiting fitting.
It's great to see some steel going back on.

cool in my town , knowing his work it will be sweet and big $$ build but worth it for a dc ..as long as its not a trailer queen like matty's ...pics work for me know .. whats the running gear plan looks like irs with the handbrake cables relocated ..Mine will be rarer now that it will have swing axle and king n link

DC progress
Usual set-up. IRS L-bug box, front discs, adjustable front & rear etc.
I had a 1916ish before & I liked the performance of that motor, so I'm looking at something similar. I should do it now but funds are tight I would like to put in CE rack & pin steering. (Thanks to those that responded to my R&P question the other day).
I'm not in a rush, although I'd love to be driving her now. should be on the road within two years.

who is building the motor for you?I had a 1916ish before & I liked the performance of that motor, so I'm looking at something similar.

motor
I haven't thought too much about the motor yet. I've got a running motor, I have no idea what it's like (other than it runs) / how long it'll last etc.
The Yank motors look like a good proposition with the good dollar, but the after sale service could be a drama.
Any recomendations or, keep well the #@%* away from this bloke would be appreciated.

DC progress
Chris & the boys have put a push on with the DC. we're inching our way forward. Pics to follow in the next week or so.
All metal work should be finished this week.
