Easter Road Trip In the 65
Few pics of the trip so far, loving holding up traffic going up hill, going faster than a semi going uphill only to be passed at twice the speed at the bottom of it, cruising at a comfortable 65 mph and all the good things that come with a 47 year old ride.

Thanks guys, Yeah love the red wheels, hate the fact there bay window though, working on it
Well we had an awsome trip, people loved the Bus and got stopped everywhere, even a few numbers if I want to sell, yeah right! Weather was perfect for safaris untill we got close to Victoria but no suprises there.
Ended up pumping out 989 miles or 1593km. I have never realy paid attention to fuel consumption but i was bloody impressed with 250 miles over 400 km every tank and that was 35 to 37 litre refills.
No breakdowns but got a weird noise I cant pin point all the way home from Eden, maybe wheel bearing. Bus did me proud

And half the time getting there for you mate it was only the first trip since having the motor out, stripped and heads off the week before we left. I thought id try something different and switched to regular unleaded, 1600 hated it and it was pinging off its head. So back to 98 and no probs.
Still keep looking at the big motors just can't help myself.
