Pyramid Hill SC 55

Post by botcolon »

Well he (Tom) has been recovered in what was a hung-over (Bendigo rocks) but exciting weekend. Below are some pics / video for your enjoyment. Undecided future at the moment as he is most crusty underneath and being a noob at all this split stuff I am quite overwhelmed to say the least.

lowdown:
1. been sitting for 40 years. Owned by a carpenter called Tom Edgar Roberts from Pyramid Hill.
2. chassis no: 20-118464, March 1955 ( a wolfsburg bus )
3. safari windows
4. no engine/gearbox, no rear suspension, no seat, no rear bumper/valance, no rear taillights, no key lock
5. came with canopy frame and wood! 8)
6. came with an engine block (vp stamped, maybe stolen/recovered by victoria police)
7. Patina is awesome along with the sign-writing. some lichen for later
8. optional air-vents for the engine at the rear on both sides
9. 56000 miles on the clock

what do you think?

Its a well known fact an OG SC will always be worth more than a DC with a checker plate tray, towel rails and PINK plates

Roll it as is, that's epic. Got to be happy about that. Good to see the engine hatch is there an semaphores the tray looks reasonable..

(insert Matty "I hate single cabs" comment here)
Whatever Matty, ur just jealous of his tray size.
Size does count!!
