Betsy the 59 SC single cab resto.

Post by NUGMAN »

This is Betsy and I'm currently doing a full rest on her. She had rust in all the normal places so i have cut and replaced panels that were required. Most of the body had small marks and dints in it so body work has been done to remove and straighten them up. I have stripped out the cab and rubbed it back ready for paint. The rear tail lights were tin cans with globes in them. Rather funny. I will put up some pics for your viewing pleasure. I have bought new safari windows for the front and rear, new larger oil cooler and a bunch of new odds and ends (new rubbers and door seals etc) She should sit nice and low once i hook up the air bags. . I have a fully rebuilt 2L engine ready to go in as soon as a few parts turn up. Im sure i have forgotten a bunch of things but i will put them up once i remember.

Cheers Ryan

Looking good Ryan...

Where are you based..?

The double treasure chest door is a great idea ,that the factory should have made as standard ...

Cheers

Looking great pal, ignore Matty, he's just a silly little girl who hates SC's and LHD busses... ooh ,and he loves pink and cheap checker plate. This never gets old :P

Nice SC and another LHD.... :D

Double treasure chest hatch a bonus! I wish I had a shed with that much room to play in
