I have started...Mr Muscle on bulk order to strip it back to Dove blue...what a shit job !

So cool seeing it through the 6 layers of house paint though, hope I can save it to make it all worth while..

Thanks again all.

Went out the shed tonight around 7.15 ish, thought I'd make a start on stripping the paint off, i know it's a shit job after watching Flip flop do his 57..

I started on the rear panel, passenger side and the opposite side, same spot and the upper rear corners.

I keep switching it about so I'm not standing in the same spot scraping and rubbing away like a loony ! At least if you move about a bit it's not almost as bad and it gives the oven cleaner a chance to work.

I'm using an oven cleaner, spray in on, wait about 10 mins and then either wipe away or scrape the layers off..I reckon I have about 5 layers on top the dove blue..

At least 2 shades of white, a red, a blue, a grey and then dove blue...

It's a bloody boring job but really good when you reveal some dove blue goodness that may have been hidden for 30 + years maybe ?

Anyways, a few pictures..

You can see the layers and colours here on the corners, this took me about 2 hours tonight, hopefully another 2 odd hours and I'll have the corners and sides somewhere near...

Nice, very nice... what tool you using to scrape, and do you use water to make sure all the oven cleaner is gone?
