Hi from Perth
Hi to all, ive been lurking around DSK for a while gathering info, tips and stuff and now wish to introduce myself.
I live in sunny WA and have been into Vdubs all my life, I currently drive a 72 cross over low light bay and own a very dilapidated 59 split awaiting resurection, my plans are to get it up and running but remain Ratty. As you can see its a major job, (im not a welder) I've seen many good looking Splits on here to inspire me, looking forward to chatting to you all and hi to a few local WA guys i see are on here
Cheers Gaz

Re: Hi from Perth
Splitty Resto That thing would still be registered in WA wouldnt it
Its a well known fact an OG SC will always be worth more than a DC with a checker plate tray, towel rails and PINK plates

Re: Hi from Perth
Thanks guys....I wish it was registered
It's gunna be a long term project. Just slowly collecting panels and parts and as much info as possible at the moment.
The whole bottom 6 inches is rusted out...floor, nose, doors, dog legs, chassis and the ribbed panel/floor above the engine.
Where to start

Re: Hi from Perth
Yes most of the interior panels are there except the cargo doors and long side, would be pretty hard to match them up
