Looks really sweet mate.

You have done very well to complete this project.

Hats off to you, its a big task you have completed.

Well done. Love the colors, looks good on my laptop, not blue at all.

thanks chief...

Have decided to keep the misty grey colour...

It turns out that the sample colours they gave me were wrong. So now I know the two colours are original VW colours I am much happier.

Steel grey up top, misty grey down below.

the misty grey is a bit bluer than I first intended but now its growing on me. I am sure you will all see more of it it at shows over the next few years....

Thanks again for all the encouragment, means alot. Just need to get her finshed now. I am going back to the uk for three months in a couple of weeks, so sadly I wont be driving her until early next year. I am renting a 40 foot container to put the splitty in whilst I am away. She deserves to be looked after.

hey guys... back from the UK.... anyone know what happened in the Cricket??? only kidding - I am welsh anyway - NOT....

Going to have the 67 Panel on the road Very soon hopefully, went to visit her yesterday in the storage container. All still there - didnt melt away or anything obscure.

The body work is 95% finished and now just need to go through the running gear and see what comes up. I have a recon 1600 twinport to go straight in, well apparently I need to do a bit of grinding first!

Also I need some round side mirrors and stalks if anyone has any - if not some new ones of roy will do - think I would rather have some ratty old ones though.

So who knows when the next show is... I need some targets to hit.....
