Re: 55...part timer
insides coming up a treat, but i dropped a bollock on the front end and i've lost the spacers that fit on the spindles over the brake backing plates and before the bearings on the early bus set up - meaning i can't fit my front wheels and get back on the floor anybody have some spares?

Thanks chaps
still waiting on Toll to get back to work and delivery my IRS kit from Kim @ indian - hoped that would be here after crissy but picked up a gearbox from Cappo and cleaned and rebuilt all my cv's and driveshafts ready for the refit so the new year should see a new rear end and a rolling bus again

Hey Dibsy, nosecone is a standard later bus one from cip1- i opted to change the bus gearbox mount for a Beetle one (also from cip1)

Re: 55...part timer
finally got my IRS kit from the couriers, after they'd kicked it into the corner of their warehouse and lost it for a week or two. needs cleaning up and painting tho so little progress here - got the gearbox in issues with where i put the accelerator cable tube but otherwise seems good... hopefully be back on wheels at the weekend..

Re: 55...part timer
Thanks to Ian68 for very tactfully pointing out that my CVs weren't going to fit - The tubular gearbox hanger tubes get in the road so had to pull the gearbox and chop out offending steel tube, bashed it flatter and welded the shit out of it - took the opportunity to paint up the IRS components and sort out the accelerator tube that had somehow ended up being a bit short
