been playing with the headliner, bloody pain in the ass,as this bus was not designed as a ragtop it does not have the gripper rails etc so have to use ones nod preaty happy with the results, just the center section to finish.managed to put the tweeters in the roof for the sterio hopefully should be ok if not tuff shit they are staying put
the shot that make it seem all worth while, just waiting for the front rubber to arrive, hopefully have it running in a couple of weeks

Re: surf bus
It has been awhile since my last post but at last i can say that i have ended my journey on this resto(for now anyway). For all the years that i have been going to shows and guys asking hodgy mate hows the bus going and some thinking it was just an urban legend i finally had the chance at Revolks and Day of The Volkswagen to say, all`s good its over there. After setting myself the goal of Revolks 2012 it was game on,my biggest thanks was to Doc for giving me the kick up the arse and helping me finish it.Hope you like
A big SHOUT goes out to the guys that helped along the way Simmo,Doc,Bish,Hank,RobK,

Very cool mate, love your work, great feeling when they are finished, although they are never finished there is always something that you want to do to them

Busses are very much - each to their own.
But for me this may be one of the nicest busses on the road.
Very classy with just the right amount of bling.

Re: surf bus
That is a real head turner.
It's unusual all by itself, being a 13-Window Deluxe, but the decisions you've made on colours, trim & interior just make it that much better.
Btw, are you running any sort of heating for those winter cruises?
