65 split

Post by tar76 »

Some may remember Ratso's old stance, well he has started a new chapter and the time has come for him to go down!
He'll also be rolling in some new black 15 inch Radars very soon as well. more pics to come soon.

Bit of a update....Bus is about a week and a bit away from hitting the road. Forgot to take the wifey's phone so i could get some pics...soz (i need to get with the times and buy a smart phone). Had a couple of hold ups xmas, couple of mods while the motor was out. I put the new exhaust on yesterday and am uping the the carby slightly to a 30/32 pict and putting a SVDA dizzy and electronic ing. Also put a couple of small shiny bits in the engine bay just to liven it up a bit.
We did a trail fit of the Radars on the front and it all seemed good, just need to wrap them in some rubber.
Thanks to Brad at busnbug for helping me out with some interior bits which i will hopefully fit in the next couple of weeks.
Hopefully get some pics this week and i'll post them up....even if it means stealing the wifey's phone and coping a kickboxing lesson when she finds out !

^^^ What he said.
Nice to see your finally doing something with this! You have had it for ages, thought you must have had regrets and were thinking about hiding it away and just keeping the bay

BTW - My personal vote would be keeping those rims and hubcaps on it and lovwering until your heart is content. You can't beat the stock split rims for looks I reckon. I would happily swap my late bay rims for earlys if I could.

i do like the stocks , but the evil matt black, iron cross, tattoo loving side of me can't go past the Radars. I'll always have the stockos in the shed if i feel for a change.
I have enjoyed having the split away as i have gained room back in the shed and the boxing gear can get used again.

Don't i rely on you for Pics Mike??
