So, just picked up the new gearbox from Ronnie at Racetrans.
Had the box upgraded to larger bearings, case has been tapped also for oil breather instead of oil splashing around at the nose cone etc....

Motor in next weekend. Also the oil recommended from Ronnie for VW irs boxes.

Thought keep this in here.
Broken springplate pulled out today to start the conversion to using Type 2 Detective plates in lieu of.

The first image is of the long plate with a straight edge on it. Measured 3mm bend in that plate. They measure up 5mm thick, the new plates are 6mm
