Wow,

Nice lowie and a 71 deluxe - the best lowie available!

The yanks and poms call that or a very similar colour Savannah Beige.

Paint shops can usually get pretty close when you come to painting your other VW's.

I took my 71 fuel flap to an auto paint supplier and they mixed up a matching batch for me - worked well and was very difficult to pick.

Cheers,

Scott

This is my Savannah Beige Notch. I don't reckon it's anything like the bus above... it's got more yellow in it ????? :?:

But I might be wrong :?: :?: :?: :?:

I reckon SB is a great colour.......

It probably is a custom mix of Savannah Beige and some other tints to make the colour.

Colours look different depending on whether they are recently done or have been baked in the Aussie sun for 40 years and change colour inside to outside but your Type 3 is definately a much lighter colour.

I would take the petrol flap off and down too an Auto Paint supplier for them to match you an tin.
