Hi All

Hi everyone, another newby to DSK. Looking for my first split to restore. Found one nearby, however will be a huge job. Question for everyone - is there ever too much rust?

Welcome aboard.

I share your pain re rust and am wondering if I've taken on too big a task but there's only one way to find out! If you don't give it a try you'll never know.

Plenty of people to ask questions and lots of info on the net to help you along the way......

Its only metal, keep chopping and welding, chopping and welding, and so on and so forth. You get the picture.

This is a handy link for when you think your bus is too far gone.

Welcome to DSK, throw up some pics of your bus, I'm sure we can all point you in the right direction.

Looks like a nice early bus!

Here is a link to one of the roof repair jobs done by Al and the boys at Das Resto Haus.
It can be done.
