as much as you are willing to pay and suffer. Wal blew more than me I think. Doubt youd turn it back into a panel and paint for 15k.
Field finds from the price of a tow to 3k, depending on year/model. Projects seem to go for 3-6k with all their problems ... 6-12k get you something with rego and working ... 12-25 is anyones guess 25+ should come with shit loads of photos of the work, and be fully resto'd, you'll pay more if they have bling and trim, IRS etc., Top end? 25-35k...unless its got many windows, then its as much as you are willing to pay.
Also depends who did the work ... or will do the work ... having a bus done by people with good reputation should be a benefit in the future.
If you want a zoom motor, then keep adding numbers... if you want a Barnie, then really hard to judge...hope it helps.
But then, better to get something honest with all faults for as little as possible ... its not that long ago that you could get them for a few hundred ... but they are continuing to rise in base price...a few grand doesn't get you much ... but even if you hord it, you wont loose money (well thats the theory).
But some folk do pay too much for stuff all the time. If you find something...then pay someone to check it out if you're not sure, Better to blow a hundred or so to get someone to look over it, than buy a turd, and there are plenty of turds out there.
