Been watching on& off for a while having owned a56 & 67 split several beetles & know have a t2 & my daughter & son inlaw are currently doing a t2 with an ej22 it will be a semi resto but updated for user friendly cruising & towing their 65 model caravan. Mine is a total nightmare called ECLECTIC. if you look on the kombi club site under performance theres a lot of where I'm up to.

I just picked up a 4.4 leyland which has all the work done
the owner ran out of money. $900 cash complete
