noice work there mate, just went through the thread.. excellent.. wish sometimes I was at the priming/ painting stage... you say it sucks but at least it means the rust is gone!!

Cheers Luke, yep heaps of work!! spending time on it cause hate leaving them to rust once sanded. Once its in primer ready for paint I'll tackle the mechanical work.

hahaha, here they are :)
Decided to put small tubs on the bus as it will be on air bags later. Went for a 45mm raise which should do and yes the seat will be custom to suit.
Unpick spot welds

cut along the out side with the 4" grinder

cut across then bend out aprox 50mm

other edge is folded so its just a easy unfold and the section is out.

Flatten the curves out with hammer and wood block

Add 45mm side flat bar and tack in to place

Great job on the wheel tubs niko, I'm kind of wishing I did the same on my bus now with these sh#t country roads I've nearly got more rubber on the wheel arches than on the tyres
