Hello from Brisbane.

Post by MAT792 »

Hello all!

I'm Matt. I'm 21 and live out near jimboomba. I've got 2 beetles a 58 and a 65, the 65 is currently part way through a full off body resto including both floor pans, heater channels and various other panels, It's been a slow road to get to where it is now but I'm hoping to have it done to get down to Valla this year.

I hope to get to know a few people on the forum in the future, I know a few mates are on here (unsure of usernames)

anyway heres some pics of the shitboxes

when I first got the 65

Enough photos for now, I'll put a build thread together in the coming days.

Shame about the rust. It was a patina monster. Would have taken anchor wax so well.
What is the plan with it? Back to original look or custom?

So many people have said that. Kinda wish I had saved it but to much rust unfortunately. The plans for more custom then classic but nothing too crazy.
