same year as mine, interesting engine lid handle..... that off a split beetle?.. .. mine does not have high vents tho? is that a pannel only thing?

The hig vents are to let air into the cargo area.
They must have made em bigger on the later buses.
But then the westy missed out

sanded hell out of the old girl lastnight, found more rust....AAAARRRGGGGG, found some good spots too, like around the windsheild, no rust weird, no rust in the doors, cool, one dogleg good... all in all, for a cheap rat, im happy....be happier when its lower and narrower..and im driving it..
