Re: my 63 split from lightning ridge
the car's finishing look is going to be rat, with bare metal for the lower half slightly rusted and the top half being the original chalky white with moss stained paint on the roof.
i have completely rebuilt the front end with new rubbers, trackrods, drag link, tie rods and spindles.
im currently installing the irs kit with adjustable spring plates from " kruzinwagon/indian customs "

Re: my 63 split from lightning ridge
The cars history: the guy I bought it off found it about 100kms west of lighting ridge 10 years ago on someone's property, the car looks as so it was once a family camper with the windows cut into the side, but at some stage in its life it was a hunting car (due to the amount of live rounds lying around the car ). He believed the car hadn't been running since the 70's.
The rear wheels arches had been flared to fit 30's for the sandy conditions up there.
The car was 100% complete when purchased with all original running gear including its factory single port 1200 that had spewed its guts all inside the engine bay.
