Re: 55' sheep carrier
Good to see that stuff moving along, Chuck.
I'm always delighted to see this being resto'd.
My wife saw Mike, the farmer, who was the PO and he said to her "Y'know, we originally thought that she deserved to sit and rest in peace. But your husband did a good thing. She deserves to be saved."
It's great to see that even though I couldn't do it myself that it was worth the effort of pulling it out.
Keep us posted, Chuck.

Good to see further progress on this one, Chuck.
Will you stay with the original Dove Blue?

Haven't made a choice on colour yet.
Thinking about keeping everything pretty stock standard at the moment so might go with the dove blue colour but still fair way of from needed to
get some colour on it.
Andy do you still have that camper any updates

Re: 55' sheep carrier
If you mean the hacked '62 Panel I pulled out of the scrub, no.
I've discussed it at length with the "minister of war & finance" & the response is the same:
"No."
It's not that we can't afford to repair it to blue slip standard or that we can't afford the rego & insurance.
It's the inevitable mechanical problems (usually pricey) that pop up.
Besides, I already have 2 road registered old aircoolers and one of them (the Beetle) needs another engine & transmission.
But I'd like to have the '62 Panel ready for Valla 2016.
Who knows..........it might happen?
