What do you mean by next one? This years is going to Grampians, back along the coast and through the Coonawarra. It leaves on 25th October, about a week after school goes back. The powers that be decided on the timing due to the increased accommodation costs during school holidays. Although timing is not ideal we are taking our kids out of school because these trips are great and they learn heaps anyway - one will probably even be driving my splitty on her 'L' plates some of the time....  .
The KI trip was great, however last years trip up the Ooodnadattta Track to Dalhousie Springs was brilliant and I regret not taking the family on that one.
I am really looking forward to 2015 which is going to Birdsville and we will definitely be taking the kids on that one too...

I will see what I have in the way of a fuel guage. Do you just want a fuel guage or do you specifically want a '62 fuel guage?

Birdsville sounds like the plan! Cartonofbeer Kombi has found me a fuel gauge. Swapping for a 2/3 seat.
Thanks anyway

Forgot to add this years ratex should be renamed winex or oldies ex. Going off the beaten track sounds so much much more fun.
