Re: 55' sheep carrier
I shouldn't complain too much about my missus.
She's put up with a lot on the VW front over the years and she was the one who recently told a friend that Valla 2016 was the goal for the '62 Panel.
That said, I hear this pretty often:
"There's only 2 of us here with licences. How many cars can you drive at once, anyway?"
She says the same sorta thing when I talk about buying more guitars........

Re: 55' sheep carrier
Finally got around to the roof which I was dreading but so far hasn't been to bad,
still a lot to ho before I finish it.
Passenger side gutter repair/replaced, new stiffener installed,
Bottom of roof bow support repaired, roof repair section installed
Above the rear hatch the stiffener and the plate which hatch bolt were rusted out. The roof was pretty good so I bent the inner gutter down so I could get in there to replace both pieces
Sorry about shifty phone photos. Missing a few photos as the we're really bad

Thanks for the detailed pics - do you have any further pics on that roof repair you did? What was the stiffener you used?

Re: 55' sheep carrier
Don't have any more photo but I'm planning on doing the other side next weekend
so I'll take more photos.
I got the stiffener made up at a local sheet metal place.
They are a little bigger than original but work well.
If you are in the wollongong area I should have
some left.

Re: 55' sheep carrier
I remember what those gutters were like.
Very thorough.
I think the only one here on DSK who's done as fiddly a job was TwinFin on his double door panel.
