I couldn't inflict this kind of pain on you!
It's snowed a wee bit since those pictures. Had to do a bit of shoveling...
I promised ya rust and rust is what ya gets!
Oh yes, frame rust. I love it!! I could stare at it all day long...

Crazy that that thing can look so good on the outside but the frame is wasted!

Since no one is going to come to my place and fix it, I decided to jack it up and have a look. The frame is pretty bad so it can't go on the spinner the way it is. Just decided to poke around and do a bit of welding.
Something done, gotta build on it and see if I can get it solid enough to get it rolled over.

Its gotta get done! Plus it's a whole lot of fun working on a 23 Window
A little more cut, little more weld... slowly something is getting done (won't fix itself!)
My flanging skills aren't the best, you can see the patched in area, but I was afraid of grinding the welds too much and compromising the strength in this vital area.

Started cutting some metal out and the I beams look nice enough.
One top hat needs work and the metal is better near the rear.

Some parts!
I couldève saved the rear outriggers, but eeh, they were 50-50.
Some pitting but it cleans up..
The center belly pan is pretty good but it will have to come out .. later. Rear hanger is beat up.

Good to see you getting stuck in but I would seriously consider some bracing if I were you. You have wheels off the ground and incomplete chassis rails while your cross braces look toast; these ones with all the holes flex easily. Also I would suggest you need to investigate the integrity of the main chassis rails under the middle belly pan flanges. You might find it easier and more sound with full rail replacements from Klassicfab than a whole series of patches. Good luck.
