Re: The storage king DC
I thought it looked familiar.... I bought this for $400 in 1999 , just went through some hand held pictures to be sure and have some history as much as I know anyway...

Re: The storage king DC
hey Frogsta
did you actually have this thing driving? from memory the sticker in the window was from a Manly boat club in 1985 or something.... i'd like to know more about the bus, it was suffering from a pretty bad 80s rebuild that had used a lot of fibreglass (probably from the boat club) and heaps of marine waterproofing type goop on the floors that just incubated all the rust- still bummed i had to sell it tho, it was pretty straight and complete

Re: The storage king DC
Yep bought it from Lota which is near Manly from a fella who sailed and restored yachts and boats thus the fibre glass. His daily driver was a convertible single cab splitty and was a real character. I picked it up using a 74 DC and a heavy car trailer up over the gateway bridge and back to the sunny coast !. I've got pictures of it when it was home but never drove it the crew that bought it had a 23 at our place too never heard what happened to that either.
